1. Ravichandran Ashwin and Quizzing

After completing his B.Tech in IT, this spinner used to work for Cognizant Technology Solutions. He later revealed, one of his major regret was not being able to represent his school at ESPN School Quiz. 

2. Duke Balls and India

Australians use Kookaburra, Indians...SG and English players use Duke Balls. Dilip Jajodia (business man from UK) is the man behind these brand of Duke balls. He owns the British Cricket Balls Limited which manufacture these balls for England cricket.

3. Book on First India Tour of Britain

The book - Cricket Country: An Indian Odyssey in the Age of Empire, authorized by Prashant Kidambi was shortlisted for the 2020 Wolfson History Prize. The book tells us the story of the first all India Cricket tour of Great Britain and Ireland. 

3. Brazil Born Cricketer


Ashok Gandotra has represented India in Test Cricket and is also a tea-taster. However, his distinction is that he was not born in India but in Brazil, a non-cricket playing nation. He is the only person to have played test cricket from Brazil.

5. Cricketers and Authors

Yuvraj Singh, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Lakshman are the legends of India and this game but yes, they can also be called authors as they have written autobiographies. The Test of my life (Yuvraj Singh), Playing It My Way (Sachin Tendulkar), 281 and beyond (VVS Laxman) are all autobiographies of these players.
